Areas of Expertise:
Mell joined CCER in October of 2018, and is a member of CCER's VR, ADII, Leadership Institute, and Conferences Teams. Mell conducts accessibility evaluations, and provides training and technical assistance to help organizations remove disability-related barriers in workplaces and public spaces. She specializes in making events, meetings, webites, and digital products accessible.
Relevant Experience:
After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, Mell worked for over 10 years in blind rehabilitation and low vision therapy, including at the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind and Veterans Administration. She also served as assistant director for the Northwest ADA Center, where she helped people to learn about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
