A third day is available for 30 minute one to one appointments of individual coaching on proposals. Thirty minute one to one training sessions are $65 per 30 minutes (only 12 sessions available)

The purpose of this training is to assist all the AIVRS programs up for renewal and to also help those programs whose grants have not been renewed in previous years.

The Trainer: Winona Reid, M.Ed.

Winona Reid (Navajo Nation) currently works at Northern Arizona University in the Institute for Human Development with the American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Training and Technical Assistance Center (AIVRTTAC). Winona has worked her entire career with grants and contracts in one way or another. For the last six years she has worked in the field of Research Administration working with faculty at Northern Arizona University and then the University of Arizona on preaward management, proposal development, budget development, finding funding, contract negotiation, policy interpretation, award acceptance, and compliance. Prior to her work in research administration she worked with American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation programs through the Capacity Building for American Indian Projects for 13 years providing technical assistance to AIVRS programs and new tribes interested in applying for grant funding. She is excited to return to working with the tribal VR programs!
