An overview of brain functioning and neurocognitive disabilities including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) will be presented. Then an overview of the use of neuropsychological and behavioral assessments to establish functional strengths and barriers will be covered. Following will be a discussion of the neurocognitive and behavioral consequences of TBI and other neurocognitive disabilities, as well as implications for education and employment, including discussion of compensatory strategies and accommodations.
